Carbon Capture

Carbon Capture

Capturing carbon is the process of removing harmful greenhouse gas emissions. Primarily these emissions are carbon dioxide (CO2), and come from various sources such as farms, landfills, power plants, factories, and other industrial processes. Ideally, we want to capture these emissions before they are released into the atmosphere. However, removing the harmful emissions can also take place after they have been released into the air. This technique aims to mitigate climate change by reducing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.

These harmful emissions are responsible for the warming of the planet. Achieved through various methods, Carbon Capture is often accomplished by absorption, adsorption, and separation technologies. Once captured, the CO2 can be stored underground in geological formations, used for enhanced oil recovery, or converted into useful products.

GreensmithsAgri Minerals Graphite Sand (AMGS) is able to work in various ways and industries to achieve Carbon Capture. AMGS comes from natural graphite sand. Our graphite sand comes from mine tailings which were once considered waste. Greensmiths has found numerous ways to recycle this “waste” and use it to capture carbon. Listed below are some notable methods.

Lastly, the above ways are just beginning to scratch the surface for the wonders of our graphite sand. Furthermore, we continually find new and innovative ways to capture carbon, with our graphite mine tailings.

Additionally, as you peruse our site you will find that removing emissions is just one of the many miraculous uses of our AMGS.
